Newman Regional Health is Emporia's community hospital, providing a wide range of medical, surgical, outpatient, and hospice services. Newman Regional Health is a teaching hospital and is home to the ESU Newman Division of Nursing. Owned by the people of Lyon county, Newman operates as a not-for-profit hospital, and is licensed for 190 beds.
