The development of the “Team Association” concept has given the New York Hilton a key differentiating factor in the marketplace, as our team focuses on each business partner and their entire scope of needs on a macro level. We have come up with a process that provides association, union, and government groups the dedicated and unique service offerings they need to meet organizational success. With a sharp focus on effective meetings and a high level of engagement with association executives, planners, and attendees, the New York Hilton Midtown’s team of experts can be counted on to devise and implement the right solution for any group’s needs. Andrew Douglas has been with the New York Hilton Midtown for 7 years, 5 of which have been working with the association market. As the Director of Association Sales, his primary responsibility is to set the strategy and guide the sales efforts for the Association group sales market segment while actively working with certain annual business partners, and also focusing on new opportunities for the hotel with a guest room threshold of 500+ (on peak night). With the capacity to host the largest meetings of any hotel in New York City, our team has an enormous task ahead of us when we come to work each day. Cultivating and developing new client relationships, while maintaining and tracking existing key organizational booking cycles is an important balance to strike in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while helping to find opportunities for our new business partners to land in NYC.
