NC Coast Clinical Research Initiative

Welcome to the North Carolina Coast Clinical Research Initiative, a regional economic development initiative serving as the focal point for strengthening the impressive Clinical Research Community in Southeastern North Carolina by addressing three broad areas of need: 1) Building Community Cohesion, 2) Increasing Community Visibility, Recognition, and Support in Southeastern NC and Beyond, and 3) Increasing and Enhancing Local Clinical Trials. Clinical Research companies already employ thousands of knowledge sector workers in the Wilmington NC area. The NC Coast CR Initiative, a collaborative effort between clinical research companies, healthcare providers, economic developers, UNC Wilmington, and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center Southeastern Office, is working to strengthen and grow the already impressive local clinical research community.
