Our HistoryNaval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) - Atlantic (LANT) officially stood up April 19, 1991 when Navy Region Data Automation Command (NADAC) and Naval Communications Area Master Station (NAVCAMS) LANT merged together bringing the ADP and telecommunications disciplines together.NCTAMS LANT was established to combine the traditionally separate responsibilities of message traffic handling and data information management. Today, this combination of communications and computer technologies is key to ensuring the warfighter has access to the right information at the right time.
