National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (NOBEL-Women)
The National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (N.O.B.E.L. Women) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization primarily composed of current and former Black women legislators and appointed officials.
In 1985, N.O.B.E.L. Women was established as a national organization to increase and promote the presence of Black women in government. Since its induction, we have motivated women to take an active role in public policy and now stand at over 300 legislators in membership.
We are the premier organization of Black elected legislative women preserving the legacy of leadership and shaping the future of our country with exceptional knowledge, character, and courage.
