NCAT’s mission is to be a world leader and authority in cost-effective asphalt pavement research, outreach, and education. We work with highway agencies and business in the pavement construction industry to advance the quality, durability, sustainability, and life-cycle cost of asphalt pavements. The center provides an array of pavement engineering capabilities including state-of-the-art materials characterization, dynamic modeling and accelerated pavement testing on our Test Track, field sampling and testing, and pavement condition assessments across the U.S.A.
