History of the Company: NaRaYa (Narai Intertrade Co,.Ltd.) was established in 1989, by Mr. Vassilios and his wife, Ms. Wasna Roongsaenthong, with a registered capital of one million baht. With Mr. Vassilios'​ background knowledge, they commenced a business of electronic apparatuses and mechanical gadget trading. After flourishing for a period of time, their business encountered problems deriving from a lack of product availability. Mr. Vassilios’ response was to initiate a new business of textile products and accessories. In 1993, a new factory was established, employing 15 staff members, who operated 15 sewing machines. The manufactured products were then sold in a small two-square meter retail store in Narai Phand. Since then, business has flourished and NaRaYa’s growth has been rapid. Today, we are a fully integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of our brands. We have a workforce across 5 wholly owned factories in Thailand, over 3,000 employees, and a cooperation with more than 4,000 makers in the Thailand countryside to produce our high-quality products. NaRaYa also produces two additional lines of product: a clothing line LaLaMa by NaRaYa, and NARA by NaRaYa for men. Today we export our products to countries around the world, serving consumers through 26 domestic retail stores and 13 international branches. NaRaYa has proven that even a small local business can evolve to become a large and successful one, in both domestic Thailand, as well as, in international markets.
