NAGLREP MN (National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals)

NAGLREP Twin Cities exists to help members of our Community who are making any type of real estate transaction. Fair and equal housing is critical for members of minority communities, particularly where Federal protections fall short; we are here to advocate for LGBT+ community members to ensure their experiences and expectations are adequate and equitable.The National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) is one of the largest LGBT and allies trade associations in the country with nearly 2,300 members. Led by Chapter President Ryan Weyandt, a Loan Officer with U.S. Bank in the Twin Cities, NAGLREP's Twin Cities chapter is active with numerous events and activities throughout the year including a Pride Month event to further showcase the benefits of home ownership to the LGBT community - a community that has nearly $1 trillion in buying power. The Twin Cities is one of 34 NAGLREP chapters around the nation. NAGLREP holds two major national events each year - the LGBT Housing Policy Summit in Washington D.C. April 17-18 and the LGBT Real Estate Conference in Palm Springs October 2-4. NAGLREP is working with local, state and federal leadership, along with REALTOR® local associations, state associations, and the National Association of REALTORS® to eradicate housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Our vibrant community of LGBT and allied real estate professionals continuously engages in learning and networking opportunities to develop and enhance their business relationships while helping the real estate industry further its connections to the LGBT community.
