Projects supported by community donations have a profound effect on the lives of those who need those services. Recent examples include the Cowell Family Cancer Center, renovation of laboratory and surgical facilities at Charlevoix Hospital, Munson Medical Center's state-of-the-art Emergency Department, the Munson Hospice House, expanded technology and services at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, and the Munson Manor Hospitality House.Through a network of dedicated volunteers and staff, our Foundations raise, manage and return funds to the communities served by Munson Healthcare for improved access to health care. Our Foundations help their affiliates meet the future, unprecedented demands for health care services in northern Michigan by integrating the philanthropic activities of Munson Healthcare. Philanthropy plays a prominent role in the future growth of Munson Healthcare. Our Foundations’ initiatives have helped people in numerous counties including Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Charlevoix, Wexford, Manistee and Leelanau.
