MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) was founded in 1937 to help our members achieve financial success and stability and we have remained dedicated to that same purpose ever since. Our mission is to provide superior member service, ultimately helping our members achieve their dreams. Today, we have 18 locations, including four in Oakland County and one in Grand Rapids. We will open three more branches in late 2019: Berkley, Clarkston, and Holt.Giving BackOur passion extends beyond finances. Each year, we donate more than $2.5 million to local organizations that help support you and your neighbors. Our financial support helps strengthen our communities, provide education and resources to underserved populations, create sustainable programs, and empower others to make a positive difference. Our dedication to giving back to the communities that support us extends to each of our nearly 900 employees. Last year, our employees donated more than 4,300 hours of their time and more than $230,000 of their own money to support organizations in our community, making this a place they are proud to call home. Financial EducationWe also provide free financial education to community members of all ages. We believe that empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, including their finances, makes a stronger community. Our financial education team offers seminars and presentations year-round on topics including budgeting, buying a home, retirement planning, and credit report awareness.
