Moran Iron Works is a dynamic fabrication facility specializing in large, modular, custom welding and industrial fabrication projects. With 40 years of experience, MIW provides a full range of custom design, engineering, fabrication, installation, service, repair and modification services throughout a number of industries, including power, marine, industrial and waterways.

CAPACITY & WORKFORCE TRAINING:
Our large indoor facility (125,000 total sq. ft.) and highly-trained workforce allows us to ramp up fabrication quickly and seamlessly. Our unique affiliation with the Industrial Arts Institute, northern Michigan’s premier trade school, gives us the ability to educate and train our staff to meet the needs of an ever-changing market. We maintain indoor overhead crane and CNC plasma cutting capabilities. We have access, via a high-wire corridor to our facility at Port Calcite in Rogers City, Michigan for haul-out and launching needs.
QUALITY:
Our management, QC and inspection staff carries Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Educator (CWE) and Supervisor (CWS) certifications to ensure impeccable quality.
