Type of Government: Mohave County government is one of the leading employers in the area with approximately 1,200 employees, including a five-member Board of Supervisors, elected by district, on a partisan basis, for a four-year term governs the County. A Chairman of the Board is selected annually by the Supervisors. The Board appoints the County Administrator who is responsible for the overall management and administration of County operations.
