Mississippi Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, provides economic development services for 23 counties in Southeast Mississippi. Economic Development has been a primary area of focus for Mississippi Power since 1925. Our professional staff works in partnership with our state partner, the Mississippi Development Authority, and our local economic development partners throughout all aspects of the site selection process. Mississippi Power has several Project Ready ® certified sites within Southeast Mississippi that have developed infrastructure or plans in place for infrastructure completion.
