General information about the Military Space AcademyThe AFMozhaysky Military Space Academy is a military educational institution that trains specialists for the Air and Space Forces, other arms and services of the Armed Forces, as well as the Russian Federation's law enforcement agencies.At present, the AF Mozhaisky Military Space Academy is a system-forming polytechnic high school of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the leading educational, scientific and methodological center in the field of military space activities, information and communication technologies, as well as technologies for collecting and processing special information.  Currently, the Academy implements:Full military special training of officers in nine faculties for 39 military specialties and 1 specialization.The average military special training sergeants (foremen) contract service - for 1 military specialty of 6, available in the license.Professional retraining of officers and advanced training of military specialists in 94 specialties, including 10 specialties of higher military operational and tactical training, as well as retraining of military personnel who are being retired to the reserve, on the basis of higher professional education - 30 specialties and on the basis of secondary vocational education - in 4 specialties.To date, the Academy has significant scientific potential. The Academy has 5 councils for the protection of doctoral and candidate dissertations, in which over 150 doctoral and candidate dissertations have been successfully defended over the past five years.
