About Midasco, LLC
Midasco was founded as a Woman Owned Business (WBE) company in 1982 as Mid-Atlantic Steel Contractors specializing as a reinforcing steel installation company servicing the Maryland and Virginia areas. Through the years it expanded its ability to include furnishing, installation of highway signs, roadway lighting services and traffic signals. With technology on the rise, Midasco began performing intelligent transportation systems (ITS) work. In 2006 Midasco became Midasco, LLC and began operating without its MBE designation. It also expanded its geographic footprint to Georgia and North Carolina and added services to include tolling infrastructure.
In 2011, Midasco, LLC became part of ACS (Actividades de Construcción y Servicios), a Spanish construction giant. ACS, a worldwide company focuses in construction, concessions, the environment, industrial services and strategic investments. Although part of ACS, Midasco, LLC has continued to operate independently as a wholly owned subsidiary and continue to expand services to now include utilities, rail and airport projects. Midasco, LLC has offices now in MD, VA, FL and TX.
