Back in 1987, two of the world’s top EfW companies – CNIM SA and Martin GmbH – decided to pool their world-leading technology and experience, and make their expertise available to the UK market. The result was MES, a British Company dedicated to the UK market. Our mission is simple: to provide local authorities and the waste management industry with advanced EfW services based on well-proven technology to meet the highest European standards. While CNIM from France specializes in thermo-mechanical projects providing a total in-house turnkey solution to EfW, Martin, based in Germany, is renowned for its expertise in refuse combustion. Between them these two companies are involved in over 210 plants around the world, handling a total of 44 million tones of waste every year. This world beating technology is available exclusively in the UK through MES. MES and MES.E are established as a major force in British waste management, employing a range of specialist staff including highly experienced engineers and technicians dedicated to maximizing the recovery and re-use of waste in the UK.
