Expertise in Medical Technology The business unit "Healthcare" offers innovative solutions for digital thoracic drainage systems, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and Professional Vacuum Systems. In the "Healthcare" business unit, we have developed Thopaz, the groundbreaking research-based digital thoracic drainage system. It supports the early mobilization of the patient after thoracic surgery. Medela operates internationally Medela has been founded in 1961 by Olle Larsson.
