Founded in 1975 as Merseyside Coatings, MCL originally set out to provide a local blasting and painting service, but very quickly diversified and has grown into one of the largest multi-disciplined surface treatment brands in the UK.The Group head office and main off-site production facility is situated in Widnes, Cheshire and along with our on-site teams we employ more than 60 people working all over the UK and Ireland. Our businesses offer a wide range of services including, grit blasting, industrial & intumescent coating application, tank linings & pipe lagging, resin flooring & screeding as well as specialist hygienic wall and floor systems across a multitude of industry sectors including, Rail & Highways, Marine & Offshore, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Civil, Highways, Rail & Air infrastructure as well as the pharmaceutical, bio-science, chemical, food and beverage markets.Along with our trusted suppliers we can offer a range of value added services, to compliment our core functions, in order to provide a turn-key solution wherever possible.MCL has been involved with some of the UK's largest infrastructure projects seen over the last 40 years including, The Thelwall Viaduct, Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, O2 Dome Arena, London 2012 Olympic structures, The Leadenhall Building and various stadia including The Etihad, Anfield, Old Trafford, as well as Ascot and Aintree Racecourse.As a family owned and managed business, our focus on safety, quality and customer relationships underpins every project we undertake and our aim is simple, which is to build and maintain relationships and repeat business by working together with our clients in order to ensure that the end users receive a project which meets and exceed their expectations.
