With our talented team of diverse IT professionals, we provide best practices, cost-effective, and timely solutions that emphasize the user experience, while supporting the growth of McGill’s evolving technology needs.What we doWe support the McGill community (faculty, academic, research, alumni, administrative and support staff), as we: • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies and practices to support McGill's academic objectives.• Design and build McGill’s enterprise IT architecture landscape.• Provide campus-wide access to Local Area Networks, Wireless Networks, Internet and email.• Manage the infrastructure and IT security for all McGill central systems.  • Incorporate enterprise-wide applications into administrative functions, infrastructure and services.• Offer problem resolution and IT support to the general University community.• Provide IT training courses for educational and administrative technologies.• Manage a multitude of IT-related projects.• Deliver strategic communication and change management capabilities for IT initiatives. • Provide web publication services and support for McGill websites.• Collaborate and share with other higher education information technology leaders, to help universities excel through IT innovation.Our peopleWe are comprised of approximately 300 professionals, with expertise in enterprise and solution architecture, systems administration, enterprise content management, software development, business intelligence, educational technology, business analysis, project management, vendor management, quality assurance, customer and technical support, website design and development, training, communication, people change management, IT process management and IT security.
