Masonic Care Alliance

The Masonic Care Alliance (MCA) is a newly established alliance of care providers that operate not-for-profit organisations across all States and Territories of Australia with tenets based in Freemasonry. Combined, the MCA provides a significant number of accommodation and aged care services. These include; 4,000 residential aged care beds, 730 community packages, more than 35,000 hours of brokerage services and 48,000 hours of day therapy services annually. Additionally, the MCA offers retirement living housing, low cost housing, and rental services to more than 3,300 people.The Masonic Care Alliance was formed to address some of the barriers the member organisations have experienced in being able to provide these services, and to acknowledge that the system desperately needs reform. The MCA are driven by the desire to actively engage in the process of establishing an improved and more cohesive aged care system. As a collective of specialists in the provision of care and attending to the needs of older people across urban, rural and remote regions, the members have a combined and extensive range of expertise.
