Mark Cavagnero Associates is a San Francisco-based architecture firm with a diverse, award-winning portfolio of public, non-profit and private sector projects. Since its establishment in 1988, the firm has completed a wide range of architectural and master planning projects including large and small scale institutional, non-profit, commercial, and residential projects. The firm provides a full range of services, from programming, master planning, site planning and conceptual design, through construction documents and administration.

Notable projects include the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco, Public Safety Campus in San Francisco (with HOK), Moscone Center Expansion in San Francisco (with SOM), Oakland Museum of California; UCSF Weill Neuroscience Building in San Francisco; Quest Diagnostics Lab in New Jersey; Palega Recreation Center in San Francisco, San Francisco State University Marcus Hall in San Francisco, The San Francisco Conservatory of Music Bowe's Center for Performing Arts, UC Berkeley Durant Hall in Berkeley and Santa Rosa Junior College Community College, among many others.

The firm’s work has been recognized with over 100 design awards for more than two dozen completed projects including the AIA California Council (AIACC) 2012 Firm of the Year award. As the founder of the firm, Mark Cavagnero, FAIA, has personally been recognized with the AIACC 2010 Distinguished Practice Award and most, recently, the 2015 AIACC Maybeck Award for outstanding lifetime achievement, among many other accolades.
