Marie Blachère, founded in 2004 in Provence, France by entrepreneur Bernard Blachère, is a traditional French Bakery. Named for his daughter “Marie”, Bernard shares his passion for baking and French bread using the highest quality seasonal ingredients to create tarts, pastries and artisanal breads prepared, kneaded and baked on-site daily. In 2019, we made our US debut and opened two locations in Greenwich Village, Manhattan and Great Neck, Long Island NY. Our counter service market includes: sandwiches, salads, quiches and assorted house-made beverages (coffee, tea, matcha and lemonades). We encourage our guests to stay a while or grab a bite to go. With 500 locations in France, Marie Blachère is one of the largest bakeries throughout all of France and features a warm, friendly and authentic ambiance inspired by a French market concept with a welcoming, professional team trained to provide the best guest experience.
