Magen David Adom in Israel

Magen David Adom, Israel’s national rescue and EMS organization, provides first aid and emergency medicine, training, professional services, blood services, and undertakes humanitarian activities for the community. MDA provides emergency medical treatment in over 511,000 cases a year. MDA Blood Services collect more than 300,000 Blood Units a year. Annually - MDA Training Teams instruct 60,000 people. MDA National First Responders Unit has 3,000 workers and volunteers MDA operates 800 Vehicles (BLS, ALS and Blood Mobiles) and two helicopters from 110 stations. 13,000 of MDA's highly trained personnel are volunteers.
