Information
Reliability. Integrity. Ingenuity. These are the standards L.W. Schneider has lived by since 1970. Today our reputation as one of the most dependable manufacturers of high-quality firearm components has earned us the business of nearly every firearm manufacturer in the country–as well as the military and law enforcement. We have three generations of family working at our state-of-the-art facility in Princeton, Illinois, America’s Heartland. Our employees enjoy being part of a team with the kind of supportive environment that has kept many here for decades. Our customers rely on us to deliver in spec and on time every time. And to make sure we’re not in competition with the manufacturers we serve, we never sell direct to distributors, dealers or consumers. Our entire process is focused on precision. We invest in flexible, high-tech equipment with efficient machining processes. Our 86,000 square-foot facility houses more than 150 CNC machines. We specialize in horizontal milling and Swiss style turning centers, but also have many vertical mills and conventional lathes. We offer a variety of value-added services like laser engraving, DFL, plating, heat treating and sandblasting. To keep us at the top of our game, we are constantly updating. In just the past five years, we invested more than $35 million in building expansions and equipment additions. We have the capability to handle any size order, all in-house. We have supplied precision certified MIL-SPEC products for the government since 1970, utilizing traditional and state-of-the-art measuring equipment. We are precise. We are flexible. And we are not afraid of taking risks and branching out to accommodate our customers. Just give us a call and let’s get started on your order.
