Longyuan Canada Renewables Ltd.

Longyuan Canada Renewables (“Longyuan”) is the wholly-owned North American subsidiary of China Longyuan Power Group Corporation (“China Longyuan”) and is responsible for the development and long-term operation of utility-scale renewable generation facilities in North America. Longyuan is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and currently owns and operates the 91.4 MW Dufferin Wind Farm in Melancthon, Ontario.At the end of 2016, China Longyuan had 17,369 MW of installed capacity of wind energy, making it the world’s largest wind power developer, owner and operator. On a daily basis, China Longyuan operates over 10,000 wind turbines and multiple utility-scale solar, biomass, and geothermal facilities across thirty-two provinces in Mainland China, Canada and South Africa. China Longyuan is traded publicly on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (916:HK) and is majority owned by its parent company, the China Guodian Corporation.China Longyuan currently employs over 6,900 employees which includes: highly experienced personnel in the fields of development, engineering, construction, finance, and operations. These people are responsiblefor the development of approximately 1,800 MW of new wind generation annually, as well as, day-to-day operations and maintenance of China Longyuan’s extensive renewable generating assets.
