Longs Of Leeds is a company based out of Sandleas Way, Leeds, United Kingdom. Longs of Leeds was first founded in 1933 and was opened up by a man named Joe and was then named J longs and sons, when the business was first opened in 1933 it became only the second company to get a license from Leeds Weights and Measures. Longs of Leeds offers pallet, part and full load distribution across the country, with regular deliveries using our fleet of over 100 vehicles, ranging in size up to 44 tonne articulated lorries. We offer 2-3 day or next day delivery and all deliveries are tracked. Longs of Leeds offers customers a unique experience when delivering their goods, Since 1998 we have been members of the Pall-Ex overnight pallet system, offering next day or economy distribution for palletised freight, Using Pall-Ex we can guarantee next day deliveries and offer timed booking slots for a specified date. In 2018 a new software was introduced called MyNexus, an interface portal that allows customers to book and track their own pallets and even access their PODs and delivery vehicle GPRS data. Our dedicated warehousing facility means we can take care of your goods with minimum fuss – and maximum efficiency. We can collect your goods and store them safely in our secure facility, plus organise incoming and outgoing stock for you. This means you get the benefit of an in-house warehouse without the costs as well as 24 hour security and surveillance and BRC creditation. Our warehousing facilities are fully equipped to deal with any business’ storage needs. We have 90,000 sq feet of warehousing space on site, and have access to much more. We can lift items up to 2.5 tons – and can put solutions in place to handle anything bigger. At Longs of Leeds we care for our environment hence we have modern vehicles in order to reduce the emissions as well as operating at the lowest practicable level in order to mitigate the impact of noise and emissions on the local community.
