London Specialised Commissioning Group

The London Specialist Commissioning Group (SCG) is a joint committee of London PCTs working in partnership with neighbouring specialised commissioning groups, NHS London, patient and public engagement groups and NHS Trusts. Through the London SCG, specialised services are commissioned collaboratively using a variety of contracting and financial risk-sharing arrangements, run by consortia. The prime responsibility of the London SCG is to ensure, through effective service commissioning, that the specialties it covers exemplify the high standards of service that patients rightly expect from a modernised NHS.
