● 2002: ConocoPhillips merger; launch of RP™II for refined products (REFINEDPOWER®)
● 2008: First DRA for heavy oil (EXTREMEPOWER®)
● 2012: ConocoPhillips spun off Phillips 66
● 2014: Berkshire Hathaway acquired the business, renamed Lubrizol Specialty Products, Inc. (LSPI)
● 2017: LSPI changed name to LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. (a Berkshire Hathaway Company)
In 2018, LSPI was named a Houston Best Place to Work (#6) by the Houston Business Journal, and a Houston Top Workplace (#19) by The Houston Chronicle.
