About LinCT Alumni Association

The LinCT-AA is a non-profit tax exempt association which is a separate affiliate of the Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) Program.

Membership in the LinCT-AA is limited to participants, syndicate directors and program managers who have completed the LinCT Program. Full ‘Members’ are those who are currently employed by a government agency whose mission includes the protection of the public from acts of terrorism. However, members who leave government employment can remain involved as an ‘Associate Member’.

First year participants of LinCT Programs automatically become member of the LinCT-AA for the following year. All participants, syndicate directors and program managers are then encouraged to remain a Member or Associate Member.

The principle purpose of the LinCT-AA is the promotion of personal and professional development, networking, exchange of good practice, and global thinking of its Members and Associate Members. There is an Annual Reconvention of members, hosted recently in Los Angeles in April 2011, April 2012, June 2013 and April 2014 through the LinCT-AA Counter Terrorism practitioners’ conference. These conferences are enormously successful, with significant logistical and financial support from Los Angeles City and especially the LAPD.
