Fuelled by innovation and technology, Lincoln Fabrics has grown over the past half century into one of the leading weavers of specialty fabrics for high performance and life critical applications. Established in 1955, the company’s original focus was on the production of the most popular synthetic materials of the day; Nylon and Polyester.
As the demand for fire resistant garments grew in the late 80's, Lincoln Fabrics used its technical ability to meet the fire resistant market needs.
Again in the late 80's due to the demand in body armor, Lincoln Fabrics focused its technical skills and expertise to design ballistic fabric that met and exceeded the market needs in both Canada and the USA.
Our fabric’s outstanding ballistic characteristics allowed us to expand to the US where we currently supply to a number of soft body armor manufacturer. Our manufacturing expansion into Alabama in 2003, with its state of the art manufacturing equipment, has allowed Lincoln Fabrics to participate in the US military market. We are Berry Amendment compliant.
Concurrent with these developments Lincoln Fabrics has created a unique line of Nylon Camouflage printed fabrics and will be NFPA certified.
