AB Linas Agro Group is an agribusiness Group. The Company itself performs only the management function and is not involved in any trading or production activities. The subsidiaries controlled by the Company are engaged in agricultural supplies, farming and processing of agricultural products, poultry production and agricultural commodities trading.Currently, AB Linas Agro Group controls 38 subsidiaries in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, having around 2,200 employees. As of the 17th of February 2010, AB Linas Agro Group has its primary listing on Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange.The core products produced and sold are grain, oilseed, feedstuffs, milk, poultry and its products. AB Linas Agro Group is one of the largest exporters of Lithuanian grain, in Lithuania and Latvia having the own network of modern grain elevators. AB Linas Agro Group is the largest poultry producer in Latvia and a major milk producer in Lithuania.The Company is one of the leaders in Lithuania in supplying production to farmers – certified seeds, fertilisers, plant protection products, agricultural machinery, grain complexes and dairy farming equipment.
