About Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (LVMAC)

LVMAC's mission is to improve the lives of the Lehigh Valley's military service members, veterans and their families by fostering and coordinating support to businesses, organizations, institutions, and communities; and by promoting awareness of the military's role in defending America through educational programs and public events.

It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer, community service organization of organizations (an association) whose membership is open to any public or private organization that supports its cause.

It offers a forum and a focal point for veterans and civic organizations, businesses and governments to support the Lehigh Valley's military-veteran community. It teaches others to help in meaningful ways; advocates on issues of importance to its local military-veterans community; and organizes or supports programs centering on local military units when deployed, the families of service members, the transition of returning veterans, and the recovery of veterans requiring additional help.
