Founded in 1956, Cartiere del Garda, together with Condat (France) and Torraspapel (Spain), is part of the Lecta Group, the second largest coated woodfree paper producer in Europe. Cartiere del Garda is a leader in its market, with the single biggest production unit of coated woodfree papers in Italy (360,000 tons annual capacity). In 2012 a converting hub was built on Cartiere del Garda’s site for handling and storing Adestor self-adhesive jumbo reels produced by Torraspapel. The facility provides vastly improved service to Northern, Central and Eastern European markets by offering a wide range of facestock, adhesives and release liners in rolls with rapid delivery. The Trentino Company, which is located in Riva del Garda (TN) just a few meters from scenic Lake Garda, sells its papers worldwide through its sales representatives, its network of merchants and Lecta’s sales offices. Cartiere del Garda combines innovative and efficient industrial operations with respect for the environment and a focus on the local community.
