About LCVS LCVS (Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Service), is a registered charity that promotes philanthropy and community involvement. We believe passionately in the voluntary and community sector and that people should be inspired and supported to make a positive difference to their communities. Founded in 1909, we are one of the largest umbrella bodies for the voluntary and community sector in Merseyside and one of the largest distributors of funds in the North West. During the past 100 years LCVS has helped make a difference by:  Supporting voluntary and community sector organisations to be the best they can be.  Helping individuals to give their support to good causes.  Giving business the opportunity to become more involved in supporting the communities in which they work.  Enabling local communities to have a voice and help to improve quality of life for all. LCVS offers a variety of services to help people make a difference.
