For more than 30 years Lattimer has been at the forefront of design and manufacture of components and assemblies for the glass container industry. It is our experience and resource, combined with our philosophy of motivating and inspiring others that has set the standard in glass engineering. Originally founded in 1937 as a general engineering company, Lattimer was called upon to assist a local glass container company solve a problem in their production process. The solution was so successful it inspired Lattimer to develop other products for the worldwide market. Following the early successes of the original Lattimer “Pusher” and “Belt Arm” in 1977, Lattimer has grown to be a world leader in I.S. Variable Equipment. In 1985 Lattimer acquired I.S.Parts International of New Jersey USA to further strengthen and expand its presence in the Glass container industry. In 1999 W.Y.E (West Yorkshire Engineering) was also acquired. Both of these product lines are today branded as Lattimer. Lattimer products are manufactured to industry standards or are designed to suit individual requirements. New products are constantly being introduced to further improve container productivity and quality, and a continued commitment to design and development has ensured that Lattimer have maintained their position as the market leader in the design and manufacture of I.S. Variable Equipment.
