LAPD Valley Community Police Advisory Board is a Community Advisory board to LAPD Operation Valley Bureau for sharing ideas, and joint projects for building an engaged community with LAPD. This is our way to engage community members in the transparent and inclusive dialogue that is needed to jointly seek solutions to the many issues that face our local community. Valley community encompasses areas: Devonshire, Foothill, Mission, North Hollywood, Topanga, Van Nuys, and West Valley, as well as Valley Traffic Division. With a population of roughly 1.4 million people and 221.8 square miles. 2014 Valley Common Goals: - Community Emergency Response preparedness - Improve LAPD Front desk contact with community: Customer service, Resource guide, - Increase Membership: outreach, quality, critical incident report - Reduce BFMV/GTA - Lock it.
