Kobe University is a national university located in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. As a leading research university, it has 11 faculties and 13 graduate schools, with about 18,500 students and 3,300 faculties and staffs (as of May, 2010). Working in a spirit of integrity, freedom, and cooperation in keeping with its open and cosmopolitan culture and environs,it aims to contribute to the global community through the creation of knowledge founded on universal values and the fostering of rich understanding and strong leadership skills.
