Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. (KPM) performs contract bench scale and small scale pilot process development work for chemical and metallurgical industries. KPM integrates lab-based research, backed by a fundamental knowledge of chemistry, process modelling, and economic evaluation to give our clients meaningful results. We assist companies in determining a research plan that leads to clarification of the key operating parameters to give a more accurate estimate of CAPEX/OPEX. As well, KPM performs conceptual process design with unit operations including heat and mass balances and flowsheeting using Metsim. The preliminary process design can then be used by an engineering firm to give a detailed feasibility study.
