Kastamonu Entegre, one of the two largest groups of Hayat Holding operating on a global scale, was founded in 1969 in Istanbul to manufacture wood-based panels. The company, which has 100% domestic capital, started production in 1971 at its first plant, Kastamonu Chipboard Factory. Kastamonu Entegre is producing in Gebze, Kastamonu, Balikesir, Samsun, Tarsus and Adana. The company has production facilities in 6 countries including Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia and Italy. In the US, there is also a company that manages wood chip procurement and logistics processes. It employs approximately 6,300 people in domestic and international production facilities and offices.Kastamonu Entegre production facilities have a total production capacity of 5.5 million m³/year, including 2.4 million m³/year MDF, 3.1 million m³/year chipboard, 70 million m²/year laminate flooring. With a turnover of 1.4 billion USD and its strength, knowledge and experience in production and exports to over 100 countries from USA to China, it is by far the best in the sector. Kastamonu Entegre also ranks 4th in Europe and 7th in theg world.It can produce FSC and CARB2 / EPA certificated products by obtaining %100 sustainable and renewable sources of wood based on customer demand. Although the production in class E1 is not compulsory, it is targeting to class E1 limits in all facilities. Floorpan and Artfloor are the first Turkish parquet brands to have Blue Angel certificate that shows that environmentally friendly materials are used in production and products contain harmful substances for human health.
