JITRI - Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute

Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI) is a top application-oriented research organization and a high-tech investor in China, which was founded in 2013 by Jiangsu Province to promote industrial technology research, the commercialization of advanced scientific results. Since its establishment, it has created state-of-the-art institutional mechanisms facilitating technology transfer and discovered new channels for transforming scientific and technological achievements into tangible products. JITRI has established 55+ specialized research institutes in the fields of advanced materials, nanotechnology, laser and optoelectronics, energy, environmental protection, information technology, advanced manufacturing, biomedicine, etc. JITRI and its partner enterprises in Jiangsu province have co-established 90+ Joint Innovation Centers, with around 8,000 R&D personnel in total.
