JISCO Alpart Specializes in the refining of Bauxite Ore into Alumina using the Bayer Process. Alpart was founded in 1969 as a joint venture by Kaiser Aluminum, Reynolds Aluminum, and Anaconda. This facility is rated at 1.65 MMTPY and is Jamaica's Largest Alumina Refinery.
Alpart is now 100% owned by China's Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Jisco)
The existing refinery was designed and constructed by Kaiser Aluminum.
