Javalon Group is executing an international strategy to identify, finance and develop value across a broad set of global sectors, with an initial focus on the long-term aggregation and export of commodities, initially iron ore, from the west coast of the Americas to China while leveraging its vast network in the development of opportunities aimed to create additional revenue streams. Through its Chinese office, Javalon has established a unique co-operative relationship with many of the Chinese State Owned Enterprises, having previously executed two 10-year, multi-million metric ton iron ore off-take agreements and finalizing a relationship with China Export Credit & Insurance Corporation (‘Sinosure’) and China Development Bank as advisor for placing infrastructure financing to African countries. Recently, Javalon closed on a 49.99% minority investment of Despacho Alfonso Amador y Asociados, SA de CV ENR SOFOM (‘Findaasa’), with the rights to acquire another 50.01% upon approval of a change of control from the Mexican regulators. Findaasa is a Mexican multi-purpose lending company that receives funding from various Mexican trust funds up to 13X leverage on its current social capital. The strategic acquisition of Findaasa allows Javalon to provide essential ‘in-country’ export and production financing to its commodity producers secured against key offtake agreements and international trade finance credit lines.
