Company Overview Japara commenced business in 2005 as privately owned company and proceed to grow into one of Australia’s largest private sector operators of residential aged care facilities until publicly listing on the Australian Stock Exchange as Japara Healthcare Limited on the 17th April 2014. An overview of our company is as follows: - We own and operate 43 aged care facilities and 5 retirement complexes throughout Victoria, South Australia, NSW, Queensland and Tasmania.- We help maintain the independence and dignity of our residents and provide the best possible lifestyle and service options to them.- We care for more than 3,800 residents, offering a variety of living arrangements, amenities, services, meal plans, social activities and care options.- Our staff are highly qualified to provide excellent service to the elderly and we adopt a continuous improvement process with training and education.- We offer independent living, low and high care, Dementia and Alzheimer care, respite and extra services care.- All of our facilities are accredited with the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd.- We develop new facilities that provide innovative design and high quality accommodation for the elderly.- We manage the Japara Aged Care Property Trust which owns high quality aged care and retirement investment properties.
