Jahrom University was established in 1352 for the first time in the form of basic science faculties and as an annex [Shiraz University], which was suspended after the Islamic Revolution. In 2006, during the first trip of the government delegation to Fars province, the Kahang Jahrom Higher Education Center was grounded and this center started its activity in 2007 and first accepted in three computer engineering, applied mathematics and translators of English as a student. In addition to completing the same year, the field of information technology engineering also added to previous disciplines.In the following years, the center was developed and the Water Engineering, Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Agricultural Engineering (Horticulture) programs were approved and launched. In 2009, Jahrom Higher Education Center was upgraded to the Jahrom Higher Education Complex. Then, in 1389, three disciplines of Persian language and literature, science and engineering, food and physics, and in the following years, were created in the field of mechanical engineering, biotechnology, medicinal plant engineering, biotechnology (biotechnology), computer science, linguistics, philosophy and mechanical engineering.Also, with the (development of graduate studies) in the last three years (1396), he has been studying electrical engineering as well as mastering mathematics, irrigation and drainage, food industry, management of sport organizations and language of Persian literature, Jahrom University in 1396 as Comprehensive University. Jahrom University is pursuing and approving a strategic board approved by the Board of Trustees in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate fields, with the participation of 80 faculty members and the admission of 3,000 students in four faculties. The establishment of a specialized center is one of the other notable measures. University of Jahrom. Since the year 1395, the campus has been opened and now (1396) all educational activities are being conducted focused on the campus of Jahrom University. It should be noted that since 1395 the administrative district was transferred there and the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Agriculture and Engineering was transferred to the campus. By using the second phase of the complex of educational classes in August 1396, the faculty of humanities was also transferred to the campus. It is worth mentioning that before the campus was set up, all educational and research activities were carried out in several depreciated residential buildings.Currently, the campus of Jahrom University is rapidly developing in the way that from the past three years (1396) the Faculty of Science with more than 6,000 square meters of underground and integrated training classes with twenty bat rooms, equipping laboratories, specialized laboratories and central library And the construction and operation of the central self-service center in October 2013, the construction of a sports complex for the construction of a mosque and a cultural complex, the construction of streets of the campus, the establishment of a 6-kilometer lighting network and the construction of a welfare complex (campus market) are being completed and will be operational soon.
