COLORADO – September 18, 2013 – Springs Fabrication (www.springsfab.com), an engineered metal products manufacturing company based in Colorado Springs CO, completed the acquisition of certain assets and operations of IP Systems, (www.ipsysinc.com), of Broomfield, CO. The Broomfield location will continue to serve the commercial and nuclear industries by providing clients with high quality isolated process systems. This acquisition has retained the engineering expertise, intellectual property, technical fabrication skill, NQA-1 quality program and the core management that has produced industry leading specialized containment systems.
With the full complement of Springs Fabrication’s resources, the Broomfield location is now positioned to offer greater capability to their existing clients and markets and will further extend the company’s diversity into the commercial and nuclear industries.
Established in 1986, Springs Fabrication is the largest and most diversified custom manufacturing company in the region. With the addition of the new capabilities, Springs Fabrication will have three manufacturing facilities (Colorado Springs, Loveland, Broomfield) across the front range of Colorado to serve clients in the energy, new technology, heavy industrial and original equipment manufacturer markets.
