The International Federation of Airworthiness (IFA) is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) dedicated to improving aviation safety by increasing international communication, awareness and cooperation on all aspects of airworthiness and particularly that of continuing airworthiness.
IFA is non political and membership is open to any corporate body, association or organisation which has concern with, or interest in, any aspect of airworthiness. Joining is easy through our online application forms via our website, there are 4 levels of membership:
Corporate - full access to all technical information - 5 contacts globally
Institutional - one contact who can share throughout organisation
Professional - individual contact
Student/Apprentice - Free - online contact only
Members receive access to all Technical information, free attendance at IFA organised events, opportunity to apply for scholarships and awards, opportunity to join with likeminded individuals to continue the promotion of airworthiness and continue the success of IFA.
IFA uniquely combines together all those with responsibility for policies, principles and practices concerned with the continuing airworthiness of civil transport throughout the world.
IFA enjoys access to thousands of aviation colleagues through the members, supported by hundreds, co-ordinated by many volunteers with only one paid staff member.
