Founders Gene Gray, Tim Mueller and Adam Ring sold during the day and built control panels at night. Along the way, Innovative allied with key channel partners such as Omron Automation & Safety, Parker EMN and SSD, SMC, Wago, Yaskawa Drives and Yaskawa Motion. With our customers’ needs always in mind, Innovative Automation added Field Service and Industrial Electronic Repairs to its service line up in 2008. Our technologies and services represent blue chip choices for our customers.In 2010, Innovative Automation acquired Omron Service Centers (formerly Omron IDM Controls) and changed the name of the company to Innovative-IDM, with distribution and manufacturing locations in both Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston. As of 2018, Innovative-IDM has grown into a company with more than 100 employees and stocking locations in Dallas, Houston, Tulsa, Chicago and Memphis. We offer local sales and field service support to customers across the southern U.S.Innovative-IDM has been recognized as an INC 5000 fastest growing private business in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. To this day, we operate under our founding principles of business integrity, team loyalty and a model of “doing the right thing” for our customers, employees and vendors.
