The group, "Indian Givers", emerged from the idea that South Asians residing in the US have made significant achievements academically, professionally, and financially, but have not had many opportunities to unite as a community in philanthropic efforts. We strive to offer these opportunities by organizing regular volunteer events for the benefit of our local community. With focus on issues such as disease, education, abuse, and the environment, we hope to offer everyone a forum to learn about and help each cause, while also meeting new people and gaining personal satisfaction.
Though Indian Givers began with a group of "Indians", we have grown with volunteers from all backgrounds and welcome ALL in our efforts to help those in need.
