Impact San Antonio

Impact San Antonio is committed to empowering women and improving the community through effective philanthropy.Impact SA awards $100,000 grants to non-profit organizations once a year. We consider applications from Bexar County and its contiguous counties. Grant applications are accepted in five focus areas: 1. Arts & Culture 2. Education 3. Family 4. Health & Wellness 5. Environment, Recreation, Preservation In 2018, Impact San Antonio had 550 members, awarding $550,000 to nonprofits in the San Antonio area. Grant applications are accepted between May 1 and May 31. Grant review committees meet between July and September to evaluate the applications and select finalists. This due diligence process includes site visits.On Grant Award Night in late October, Impact SA members will listen to presentations by finalists and vote. The grant recipients will be announced immediately following the vote. Impact San Antonio has awarded over $3.2 million in grants to area non-profits since 2004.
