About Illinois Sales and Marketing Association

Illinois Sales and Marketing Association (ISMA) is an undergraduate student organization providing members educational and networking opportunities within the world of sales and marketing. We began as the Selling Illini and evolved into ISMA to expose a larger breadth of students to professional development opportunities. The mission of Illinois Sales and Marketing Association is to offer students opportunities to expand their personal and professional competencies within the industry through insightful guest speakers, workshops, and professional conferences. Our organization is headed by dedicated students looking to better the University of Illinois as a whole.

The goal for Illinois Sales and Marketing Association is two-fold. Firstly, to build the visibility and reputation of the Media Sales certificate program at the University of Illinois to outside recruiters, placing it as one of the top sources for talented and passionate students. Also, the organization as a whole functions to develop and facilitate opportunities for its members to learn about Sales and receive unique internship/job opportunities through networking with other students, guest speakers, panel discussions, and club trips.
